Maile Wilson
If you count glamour shots as professional portraiture, then Maile has been shooting "professionally" for sixteen years. During that time, she owned and operated three successful studios in California, then in Texas. Realizing her favorite part of owning a storefront was getting to decorate it, she knew things had to change. She decided photography was not rocket science and started shooting in ways that interested her. With over a decade in the business, she fell in love with photography for the first time. She believes that art doesn't have to be complicated, and neither does your life. Her work can be found at the Relish Portrait Studio website and on her blog Daily Relish.
She can be reached at .

Irene Nam
Irene is a writer, neat freak, mother of two who loves instant photography. When her husband gave her her first Polaroid camera as a Christmas present last year, she had no idea that the little experiment would soon become a source of inspiration, an opportunity to see and express things differently and that she would enjoy it so much. Irene now navigates a happy balance between working on a book project, playing dominos with her twin sons, and strapping on a backpack full of film and crawling all over her native Paris shooting Polaroid photos. You can see more of her work on her site irenenam.com. You can reach her at .
sarah-ji
Once upon a time, Sarah-Ji wandered the streets and music venues of Chicago practicing stealth photography wherever she went. Then along came a husband and baby soon after, and her shutterbugging days seemed to be over. Luckily, in the spring of '07, she awakened to the world of dSLR, and now she hopes to be snapping away happily ever after. When she's not taking photos, Sarah-Ji daydreams about Metropolis lattes, the Pacific Northwest and running an urban hostel. Her passions are mindful parenting, making mix CDs, creating/finding community, and the voices of Sam Beam, Sufjan Stevens, Neil Halstead and Jeff Tweedy. Her own corner of cyberspace is at sarah-ji.com or you can reach her at .
Jen Lemen
Jen Lemen realized she was a photographer on the fertile fields of Rwanda where little girls tugged at her skirt and old women stood solemnly waiting for their portrait to be taken. This experience--revealing joy and wisdom in unexpected places--shapes every shot Jen takes with her trusty Canon Rebel, whether she's gazing at flowers along the street where she lives in Silver Spring, Maryland or telling stories about sage souls from near and faraway lands. You can read more about Jen's creative adventures at jenlemen.com.
