This partnership will likely be expressed in many ways; a new website, a mobile app and a brand new slew of opportunities to meet, to retreat and to experience a bond of kindred spirits that has always been unique and special to our amazing Shutter Sisters community and will be too with the Camera Men.  Tracey Clark

With a modest arsenal of Canon equipment, a bounty of intuition and her self-proclaimed obsession with natural light, Tracey has spent over 15 years as a professional photographer and takes great pleasure in capturing the kind of images that remind us that life is beautiful. She appreciates good composition, authenticity, a cool ocean breeze and her 50mm Compact Macro lens.

Paige Balcer

Paige is a graphic designer turned professional photographer living in Omaha, Nebraska. She started Paige B. Photography in 2008 after spending many years practicing on her cat, Roxy. Paige enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son and visiting friends in Chicago. Paige loves dark chocolate, argyle socks, the Paper Source and any good book.  

 

Xanthe Berkeley

From shooting 35mm in school, learning to process and develop, falling in love with Polaroid at college falling in love with Polaroid at college and a glorious affair with lomo in the 90‘s - taking photos has always been part of Xanthe’s life, it’s now her addiction.. She has a camera with her all the time, capturing the beauty in everyday moments. A lover of bright colours and sunshine - along with sand between her toes, things served generously during her 5 years living in Asia. Now living in London with her two boys and partner, Xanthe enjoys sitting around the campfire, growing beautiful things in the garden and singing along to music compiled by her boys. Alessandra Desouza

Alessandra is photographer, mother, wanderer, and all around multi-passionate creative. She currently splits her time between photography assignments, teaching workshops, doodling, drinking good coffee, practicing lots of yoga, and raising her beautiful 2 year old daughter. Andrea Jenkins

Andrea is one part photographer, one part writer, one part modern dancer and one hundred parts mama. She lives with her spectacularly bearded husband and two children in Portland, Oregon in a little house filled with too many collections and probably too many legos. She's convinced life would stink without the following: polaroid cameras, bicycles with baskets, old school photobooths, underground hip hop, vintage everything and lemon sugar anything. kim klassen

Kim is an artist turned crazy passionate photographer, living in a tiny Canadian town with her family and sweet love Ben, their Goldendoodle doggy. She’s crazy about her life; basking in the quiet solitude of her studio as she creates daily. Until recently her creative passion was painting. Then one day after a life changing event, her quiet little Nikon called to her. She will never forget their first true connection; a simple trip to the trail with camera in hand....wow...what a rush. Kim now combines her art and photography, creating painted textures for photo enhancement. It’s a perfect combination of digital and ‘get messy’ creativity. Jen Lemen

Jen Lemen realized she was a photographer on the fertile fields of Rwanda where little girls tugged at her skirt and old women stood solemnly waiting for their portrait to be taken. This experience--revealing joy and wisdom in unexpected places--shapes every shot Jen takes with her trusty Canon Rebel, whether she's gazing at flowers along the street where she lives in Silver Spring, Maryland or telling stories about sage souls from near and faraway lands. Myriam is a curator of connections and experience. Her great loves are her trombone man husband, people (small ones especially),words, photographs, music, food and art. She is an experience maker, dream shaper and love child. She works in joyful collaboration with artists, visionaries, and people who hope. You can find her and her big gorgeous heart dancing behind the scenes with a camera, a clipboard, a sharpie and a snack. 

Chris Sneddon

Chris Sneddon has loved photography forever but didn’t truly catch the shutter bug until after her now teen-aged son was born. Since then, she’s gotten herself a reputation for stopping the car on a dime and hopping out to capture the perfect shot. A lover of natural light and all things Canon, Chris believes that everyone brings their own medicine to this world and that photography is hers. She blogs at Everyday Heartbeats .

 

Stephanie Calabrese Roberts

Stephanie Calabrese Roberts is an award-winning documentary photographer, writer, and digital media producer. She is the author of the best-selling The Art of iPhoneography: A Guide to Mobile Creativity book and iPad app, and Lens on Life: Documenting Your World Through Photography. Meredith Winn

Meredith is a freelance writer and photographer. She weaves stories from truth and optical illusions from images. Meredith calls the western Maine foothills home, where she lives off-grid in a yurt with her partner and a trio of boys. Meredith writes for Taproot Magazine and is a contributing photographer for Getty Images. Her words and images are the result of a life that dances between childhood and motherhood.
