Superhero Photo Challenge: The leaf perspective

This week's challenge has some very specific instructions.

1. Walk outside

2. Find some leaves on the ground

3. Place your camera on the ground at leaf level and imagine the world from a leafy perspective.

4. Don't worry about getting your eyeball way down on the sidewalk, just click the shutter and see what happens.

5. Play! Experiment!

6. Share your captures here.

Santarchy is not a movement, that\'s what you do in the bathroom. In addition to that, the annual Santacon events are not a protest against Christmas or commercialization. Really, it\'s just a bunch of santas getting together to have a good time.

i love laying in the dirt, playing in the leaves, getting small, and bringing my nikon precariously too close to still bodies of water. here's a collection of nature's love from the ground:

OMG! I love this. I've been doing it ever since the leaves started falling. It's always such a surprise because, short of laying flat on the ground, you have no idea what is going to happen once you press that shutter.

Here's one of many to come.

I've been trying to get different angles and actually lay down on the grass. I didn't feel as silly as I thought I would!

...I have mostly pine tree's in my yard. I did find some..but found more pinecones than anything. I loved this challenge. Had to explain to hubby why I had pine sap all over my pants tho LOL. I wonder what the cars thought while driving past my house and seeing me laying on the ground =)

Our leaves are now a soggy, sloppy mess.
These low leaf perspective shots were taken earlier in the fall:

i wouldn't have thought of actually setting my camera all the way down on the ground, i don't think. in this one, i did just exactly that, no viewfinder cheating, and it was my favorite!

although i also loved this tree:
