Looking Up

And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow.                                                                                                       ~ G. K. Chesterton

A few looking up shots from our trip to Clear Lake. There's always something to see when we stop and look up... the wide open sky, fluffy clouds, the sun, the moon, even a funky birdhouse or 2.... it rarely disappoints. Life's good that way.

Today, stop...pause...and look-up. Elevate your everyday with us. Be sure to tag your photos with #sselevate. Thanks for playing along!

navy blue

I'm pretty certain that there isn't a singe shade of blue that I don't love. Navy blue is supposedly one of the deepest darkest blues there is. Nearly black or so it is defined. But when I did a quick Google search for a little inspiration, the variety of shades I saw delighted me! Every imaginable hue of dark blue accounted for.

So today as we round the half way mark throught the bright bold month of color, share your point of view on the awesomeness that is Navy Blue.

details

Spring has finally arrived and I find myself once more belly down in the soft grasses searching for tiny details through the lens of my camera.  Point of view, is something I love to play around with.  Getting down low is probably my favorite.  Some call it a worm's eye view.  If you could see me I am often with muddy wet knees or grass sticking in my hair from getting shots just like this one.  I think getting a little dirty is all part of the fun.  I feel like a kid exploring the world at my feet.

Today lets have some fun, grab your camera and go play in the grass.  Get low.  Get muddy.  Have fun!

Then share your worm's eye view with us here.   What beautiful little details can you find today?
