navy blue

I'm pretty certain that there isn't a singe shade of blue that I don't love. Navy blue is supposedly one of the deepest darkest blues there is. Nearly black or so it is defined. But when I did a quick Google search for a little inspiration, the variety of shades I saw delighted me! Every imaginable hue of dark blue accounted for.

So today as we round the half way mark throught the bright bold month of color, share your point of view on the awesomeness that is Navy Blue.

Amazing how many shades of blue there are! There's a little turquoise blue in the chair...and some 'navy' in the flowers:

I had a difficult time finding a navy blue photo in my archives. Eventually, I sought the color out in our comings and goings and took this last night, hoping that it was "navy" enough. http://www.flickr.com/photos/melissatalbert/7393231946/in/photostream

I, too, love all the blues...especially when together.
The first photo in this post:

has a range of blues and greens
and makes me think of a fairy tale woods.
Your photo with the "point of view" phrase...that is cool...great words and color.

Against a backdrop of lush pacific northwest green, a flash of blue moving through the trees. A look of surprise as he is captured.
