Leap of Faith

I am forever fascinated by feet shots. Funny thing, since my feet are far from pretty. There is just something about them I find fascinating and common all at once. Seeing where others stand, how they stand, what they have on their feet, all catch my eye and hold my attention. Some bare foot and carefree, perhaps dipping their toes in new waters. Others pretty and feminine in a great pair of heels, headed for a night out. Some commemorating a place, or time, or perhaps simply celebrating a new pair of shoes. What girl doesn't love that?

Lately I am loving shots of leaping, lifting off, and jumping. There is just something utterly joyful and hopeful in these shots. So what are you feeling today? Are you feeling grounded? Or are you ready to take a leap with me?

Show us where you stand.

Such a gorgeous shot! This one is not so gorgeous, but its still special to me because half the time my friends and I all show up wearing sneakers like this:

Awesome! I love feet shots mostly because my kids don't always cooperate but I can usually get them to at least so something with their feet and I don't have to worry about peanut butter smeared smirks and funny faces.

My two favorite feet shots:
39 weeks pregnant:

Today I stand grounded. Planting my feet in all that know and listening to what my heart desires. I am trying to listen to that little voice whispering to me. Telling me to spread my wings and take flight.
