Superhero Photo Challenge: Jump!

This is me and my friend Frederik. One thing I love about being with a fellow photographer is that they will say something like this out of nowhere... Okay now jump and I'll take pictures of you!  We had the best time shooting each other in midair this afternoon with his brand new Canon 5D Mark II. (If you know what camera this is you are drooling right now)

I was reminded today of how much fun photography can be. If you are playful with it there is so much magic that can appear in your viewfinder. With every one of these shots I was amazed to find us in midair. It was impossible! but true that these little boxes can capture such unlikely things.

Shake things up everyone; jump in the air, leap across your kitchen floor, make some magic and share it with us here.

Its been awhile since I commented...or even have had time to come on the computer at all...except for my day job...ugh. so I am thrilled that I came today to share this one! :)

I do this with every child I photograph and they love it. I love it because it means they're having fun while I'm taking pictures.

Of course, it helps if you have a trampoline:

problem is I need to find me a local photographer friend, someone who doesn't live on the other side of the continent like all my photography blogging buddies...

Jumping shots are always so much fun! Here is a shot I took last summer of my husband and son jumping off the diving board into the pool.

I love jumping shots as well! So combine a trampoline and a hamster's funeral and this is what you get.

Jumping is one of my favorite things, too - but my absolute favorite "superhero" shot is this one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/crazyunclejoe/2096811576/in/set-72157608751725476/

I love the jump shot for the mid air shot but, also for the fun that follows. This client takes a jump shot at each new place they visit together so I thought it fitting to include it in our time together.

I so love your blogsite. It inspires me so much...at a point in life when inspiration is so needed. More than anything....I look forward to a day...when I can jump in the air without snow coat, snow pants, boots, gloves, scarf....to weigh me down!!! Again....I adore your site!!!!

I had so much fun with this challenge!

Being 38 weeks pregnant, I'm not sure if it was entirely safe to be jumping like this - but I had fun :-)

My little boy jumping across the hay bales...Oh, what fun! The best part was him picking the shot..."Mommy take a picture of me jumpin' the hay!"
