Superhero Photo Challenge: Clouds

I have a confession. The clouds have been so delicious in my neighborhood lately that I haven't been able to resist taking photos out of my car windows while driving. I know, I know, so bad! But I can't resist those yummy, puffy, poofy clouds. They are magic. (The clouds above were taken with my camera phone)

For this week's photo challenge, let's see your most stunning cloudscapes.

An outing to the country, my boys climbed a haystack and we watched the clouds float by.

I, too, find white cottony clouds against the blue sky irresistible. Here is my flickr set of clouds http://www.flickr.com/photos/ironacres/sets/72157615706755436/

what a great cloud shot—i can't believe camera phones these days! they have come a long way! (not that it's the camera as opposed to the photographer responsible for the shot being good.)

i just used this photo/link for my comment on the shutter sisters hope post a couple of days ago, but i guess i can use it again. i'd try to use a different one, but this is my favorite of my cloud pictures. i took this while on the moving train to Chicago—not quite the danger that is involved with taking it while driving, but i have taken my share of those kind of shots, too. :)

If you haven't heard about the school boys that sent a camera above the cloud level, you should check these out as well.

This is from just a week or two ago, the clouds were so interesting that day and I snapped a ton of pictures but this was the best in my opinion. The funny thing is that about two hours later, the sky was clear and blue!

I always marvel at clouds and know if I went digging I'd find many in my files. This one is a snapshot I keep by my workspace of my husband and 4yo playing in the waves on a cloudy day in Maine.

This picture has a lot wrong with it and technically it isn't that good, but the clouds are so ridiculously cool, I keep coming back to it. My 5yo begged me to take the picture, and I just snapped it to make him happy, Now it makes me happy.

I actually think it is kind of hard to take cool cloud pictures. I mean, sometimes they all come out looking the same - and they are never quite as beautiful as they are in person. But there are great ones listed here! Fun challenge!

Quite an amazing camera-phone photo! They are quite luscious!

Here's mine. I've posted this one a million times before, so I apologize in advance, but it's my absolute FAAAAAVORITE of all time cloud photo!
