Unstoppable

We met online several years ago, but I knew everything I needed to know about Jen Lemen in one blog post. What can I say about her that hasn't been said? She's magic. Whether you know her in real life or purely in the virtual sense, you know it to be true. She makes good things happen. Honest and wide open. She's not afraid to push you. Like a magnet, she draws you in and recharges your soul... then swiftly sends you on your way into a fit of laughter.

Most of the images I have of Jen in Rwanda show her entwined with people she loves, deep in thought, blissed out on the back of a motorcycle, or gripping someone's hand. But this is my favorite because it's the picture of a woman who has found her place. Confident. Full of light, love, unlimited ideas, and abundant hope. This is a woman who's not afraid to dream big dreams, and follow them as they unfold.

Who inspires you? Share a portrait (in words or an image) of someone who is unstoppable.

I see the photo above and I think, how brave is she? I have a couple of woman who are older than me who I really respect and admire. But today, I'm linking a young woman who is full of life and full of potential. She has the world in front of her and she lives like it. Makes me wish I was twenty-something again.

She's also a lot of fun!

the way you all see each other inspires me. it's not always that way. people don't always see each other they way you girls do.

What inspires me? This very capture, this woman, and you. And the memory of you both in the Shutter Sisters suite at BlogHer, you with your sensible backpack and Jen with her silver shoulder bag. Never fails to make me giggle, that memory. You're both so special and I've been drinking up the Rwanda stories like a thirsty girl. xo

I don't know how or why -- but I am so fortunate to have found Jen Lemen's blog when I was living in my darkest days. I read post after post, crying cleansing tears, feeling a connection to a person I never met. I returned to her blog so many times after that day. But nothing shook me to my roots like that first day.

I am so much better now -- living on the other side of a saddness that was deep and ached like a bruise.

I am so grateful the Universe sent Jen Lemen to me when I so needed a light to find my way.

I am so grateful.

all of you here at Shutter Sisters inspire me. This blog encourages and stimulates so many people.

But the one person that I am constantly impressed with is my daughter - her creative mind excites me.

Same here. I am SO inspired by Jen. When I feel like I'm not sure what to do, I ask WWJLD? Really. http://bit.ly/17HjTM

What a charming tribute to an incredible person.

My unstoppable inspiration is my daughter. She is the catalyst for more change in my life than I would ever have dreamed possible, and I can't wait to see what else she changes. I have this feeling it's going to be a lot.
