festive reflections

Being a huge fan of reflections, I love to play around with the ornaments on our christmas tree. This shot was from last year, when I kept a christmas bauble in my pocket for shots in the snow.

I’ve been spying ornament reflections in our Flickr pool... here, there and everywhere.

Red, pink, silver, & green baubles. Everyone’s doing it!, did you know there is even a dedicated Flickr group?

Are you inspired? Why not join in the fun and find beauty in your festive reflection. You could even take the ornament off the tree and out for an adventure. I'd love to see what you capture.

Ooh. What lovely hands you have! Mine are looking very much the worse for wear in this cold weather. Sorry - I know I'm meant to be looking at the reflection, but I always look at people's hands - they fascinate me! I love the whole image though!

That's a really neat idea!! I think I am going to spend a day with my camera and a bauble (love that word) looking through its eyes.

Just took this one today. I got a nice little fisheye effect from the hood. Also, notice the moon.

How fun! I have lots of reflections, but not as creatively presented as some of these. I'm inspired to try some new places... now, to find the perfect shiny, reflective ornament! :)

Love your reflection! It's amazing how a small orb can tell a big story.

I was walking around the yard last evening in search of bokeh lights when I found this reflection of the setting sun and so much more.

I am *definitely* going to take a bauble outside this weekend. I think I need a big shiny silver one for this purpose :)

I think I may just have to hunt for some reflective ornaments -- my collection of snowflake ornaments just won't cut it for this one! Lovely shot.

I wasn't close enough to get a good reflection, and I don't think I have the right lens anyway, but here's my attempt. I like the shot anyway for the contrasting colours of the ornament and the wall:

A beautiful reflection. I don't know how festive it is, or even original for that matter. But in my eyes she's gorgeous.
