texture love

mouse over to see the before texture photo

I ♥ textures.  You may already know that. :) I will never forget the first time I placed a texture on a photo....changed the blend mode... and poof...  MAD LOVE! I find the process completely magical.

How bout you?  Have you been bitten by the texture bug? Have you tried? Honestly.. it's so much fun!

If the whole process is completely new to you.... check out these tutorials on my site. And here's a little texture gift for you as well.  Just a little something to get your started.  Maybe today's the day!

Share your textured fav with us... We'd love to see....

Thank you, Kim, not only for the beautiful new texture, but also for being such an inspiration to so many! Truly, because of you I FINALLY know how to use PSE and am so enjoying learning more and more and more about photography in general. And yes, I am addicted to textures too because of YOU-KNOW-WHO!

i don't post many of the photos I apply textures to but i was totally inspired by the texture you offered us to play with. It's a perfect compliment to my recent photos from Arizona. i created a set just with them. thank you.

I enjoy using textures a lot. Kim has taught me much about using them and her textures are my favorite to use. My Redbubble site has all my texture photos for you all to see. Please stop by--it would be an honor to share with you.

Congrats for being on Shutter Sisters blog. Well earned, my friend. Using textures has opened up a whole new door for me photographically and yours are a big part of that. Thank you so much for sharing. Here's one of my recent images where I used one of your textures.

I love textures! Ever since being introduced to them by Kim I can't stop playing. They are magical! Here is one I really like, of an old doll face I am making into a picture. I think the texture suits the doll beautifully.

I fairly new to textures but have definitely caught the bug! I love the new ones, Kim.

I used them here:

Thanks for sharing your wonderful textures!
