2013 photo calendar templates

These mini calendars always get such a positive response, so I'm excited to share the Photoshop template with the Shutter Sisters community once again! They are perfect for personalized holiday gifts or just as a special gift to yourself. Many of us don't take the time to print our photos, so this is a wonderful way to have physical evidence of our passion for photography all year long.

Download the files HERE.

The files include basic instructions for creating your custom calendar pages in Photoshop. Then just print them on photo paper or cardstock and cut them out.

These templates are sized to fit in a cd jewel case, but they can also be fastened together with a binder clip and hung on the wall. If you choose to use a cd jewel case, you'll just need to carefully take apart the case and put it back together so that it stands up like the photo above.

Enjoy! And please let us know how you plan to use these cute little calendars!

Does anyone who has done it before know the most cost effective way to print these out? I definitely like to give as gifts.
I would love to know how others do tihis.

Oh thank you! I look forward to these every year! When the year is over they all fit on a 2-page spread in a 12x12 scrapbook - with a bit of fiddling.
I do use them in PSE7, to answer a previous comment/question.

Two years ago I downloaded your template and enjoyed using it. I've been checking your website regularly the past couple of weeks hoping that you would offer it again. Thank you so much!!

I, too, have been waiting eagerly for these. I have a calendar I made last year from it on my desk. Everyone I gave a calendar to really enjoyed them. Thank you!!!

This is such a wonderful idea! I can't wait to make these as gifts.

What kind of CD case (brand) did you use to hold the photos? I've tried getting it to stand right but the part that holds the photo stands vertically straight up whereas it looks like the one in your photo leans back slightly... is that right and if so, how did you get it to lean back like that? Thanks again for sharing this!!

Thank you so much for the templates! I gave these as gifts last year and everyone just loved them. As for printing, I took my jpeg. files on a thumb drive to my local UPS store which also provides printing services. They printed 2 calendars pages on each 8.5 X11 page for a cost of about 35cents per page - light weight cardstock. I cut them apart myself to save money. As I recall the cost came out to less than $2.50 per calendar. I wanted to avoid using up so much ink from my home printer - and also the quality was better from the print shop.

As for the CD jewel cases and the easel set up. I think I have it figured out, but it's easier to show than to tell. I'll try my hand at making a video later this week and post back here. I also like the idea of giving the calendars all clipped together with a bulldog clip that has an attached magnet - works for the kitchen on the fridge or on a filing cabinet in the office, etc.

Anyone have better ideas?

Thanks Donna! Great idea about the printing and I'll be back to check out your video (I still haven't figured out how to do it). :-)

Good morning,
I was delighted to see your templates again. This will be the third year I have made them as Christmas gift. I make them 5x7. This year I cannot figure out how to remove the crop marks. I have a Mac.

I cannot THANK YOU ENOUGH for this download!
What a gift!
For many years I've been trying to painstakingly do this in InDesign . . .
Your method was so easy and effective!

This is my third year making these and I have done it both ways, with a clip and the CD case. This year I am trying something new. I am taking the calendar to Walmart and have them printed on photo paper. You could do it 4x6 or the original size and just cut the left over part. Also, you could glue the pages to a Heidi Swapp Memory Display Stand for a fancy look.

I LOVE these calendars and make them as gifts to our traveling group when we cruise. THANK YOU for these templates. Our next cruise is in June so I would like to make a june 2013 - june 2014 calendar but I don't see templates for 2014. Will those be available soon? (I know this is way ahead for most people's needs...sorry). If not, is there a way to edit the months/days on the 2013 templates?

I love the idea of these calendars and would like to sell them at our local Church Christmas fair next year (if permitted). Unfortunately I unable to open the templates. Is there any other way - such as JPG or PDF.

thanks
