market day

Summer provides our senses with amazing colors, sights, and smells.  This summer I have been leaving my Nikon at home more and more and relying on my iPod for my fun summery shots, but once a week there is a place I can count on to fill up my senses and one place I am SURE to always bring my "big" camera, the farmers market. It is sensory overload. My camera barely leaves my face.

This is just some of what I found:

rainbows

sweetness

reds

and rest  :)

Summer moments,  I love them.

I love farmers' markets; so much to take in.
You have some wonderful photos of the food and the activity.

One of my favorite summer places, an hour from home:

We love this place...every year...in the summer...for an evening...or camping.

Your "big" camera takes great shots. Love your red shoes. When I take my "big" camera it is a Canon One Shot. Some day I may graduate to big camera school. I love the Farmer's Market, as well.

My favorite part of summer is spending two weeks with my nieces. Beach, bowling, pajama day, blowing bubbles, swinging in the hammock, making up stories as they sit on the swing -- it all goes so fast that I treasure every moment spent with them.

This summer it has all about camping and playing outside during the weekends. I captured this moment while watching the kids play. I was so glad I brought my zoom lens and actually put it on my camera over the weekend, I love my 50mm, but it wouldn't have done this moment justice.
