something yellow

Color prompts are always some of my favorite days.  I love seeing the pool fill up with images all the same color.  Today we are seeking "something yellow". Yellow happens to me my favorite color.  When I see something yellow It makes me smile.

Yellow evokes images of sunshine, lemons, golden hour, smiley faces, bumblebees, and flowers.  Like these pretty sunflowers I found on a walk to the playground. SO happy don't you think? All month I have been shooting the daily prompts with my IPod, rather than my DSLR.  I love just sticking it in my pocket and capturing my image each day.  A visual treasure hunt.

Today seek something yellow in your lens. Elevate your everyday with us.

Don't forget to tag your sunshiny yellows today, #sselevate.

And most importantly, have FUN!

Sunflowers are such happy flowers; it's impossible to not smile when you see one.

With Indiana's drought though, this is my yard this year:

I chanced upon these lovely flowers during my run on the river trail near home. I agree, yellow is such a bright and positive color :)
