Friday's Featured Photo Resource - JKost

A few weeks ago while speaking on a conference panel (one of the many other things I have been known to do in addition to photography and blogging) where I had the pleasure of meeting some really great people in the photo-know. One such person I had an informative exchange with was Bob Rose, Senior Technical Editor of Rangefinder Magazine. Besides being very complimentary about Shutter Sisters he pointed me in the direction of Julianne Kost. Thank you Bob!

Beyond being an enlightened and accomplished photographer, author, and teacher, Julieanne (aka JKost) is a Digital Imaging Evangelist. Her words not mine. And yes, that is her actual title. Is it me or is that the coolest job title ever? Of course it's no job I could ever vie for, which is exactly why she is the perfect resource. If there are still many-a-mysteries that elude you regarding Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom be assured that Julieanne will demystify anything and everything related to digital imaging.

I'm pretty sure you will be as compelled as I have been to peruse the endless bounty that is the JKost library of lessons. Her manner is approachable and easy to follow and via a plethora of the free tutorials (pdfs and videos) found on her site, her offerings are a virtually endless bounty for all photographers. I won't even mention how totally sweet it is that she's a woman. Ahem. And with that, I will leave you to your learning.
