Superhero Photo Challenge: Superhero

I am in love with this photo I shot recently of my son and husband... Without realizing it, I had shot Ben's superhero portrait-- my two year old at his most heroic, proud to be standing in such a precarious place all by myself. The only thing missing is his cape. 

One of my favorite all time superhero portraits was shot by fellow Shutter Sister Maile, and I love this polaroid by Kate Pulley.

i spent the day with a superhero (of a certain sort). his name is obi wan kenobi (or thats what i'm supposed to call him). he, yoda, master windu and i spent today protecting our neighbourhood from battle droids. i'd call that superhero behaviour...here he is in his full costume...

My dear friend Elena is smart, beautiful, kind and caring, sings like an angel, and is just plain fun to hang with, but the thing that makes her totally my hero is her athletic ability. Several years ago she did her first triathlon and won her age group handily!
