word.

Are you like me, do you ever stumble upon something so randomly at just the right moment when you need to see it most? A literal "writing on the wall" moment that stops you in your tracks? Word.

Today, share with us the graffiti, the truth, the words or the street art you find that makes everything seem right in the world.

I saw this written in several places as we walked through Central Park on Christmas Day. We exited and headed toward upper West Side....blocks away from the park, I found it again in the middle of a busy sidewalk. Message received, loud and clear!

Sometimes the words are right there in front of you.

Well. There are suggestions, as I found on this wall in New Orleans:

And then there are commands--look to the far left, among the other random names and greetings:

My words were on the wall of a preschool classroom. And I really needed the reminder:

I love finding street art that 'speaks' to me. This one is my favorite so far:

I love the "believe" phrase and how you are standing at the threshold of all the color it holds!

Sometimes you just have to let go and see what happens:

And sometimes, even in the midst of order, you gotta hear the music!:

Stumbling upon these graffiti words is what inspired me to start a blog: http://bigmariolife.blogspot.com/2010/02/quest.html

Seems like the perfect opportunity to make this graffitti whatever you needed it to say: http://www.flickr.com/photos/anngeedee/5698331210/in/photostream I love that it's got the copyright logo next to it too. To me is says, "We're all in this together".

The first photo I ever took of graffiti was at a street festival in NYC. It's still my favorite.
