San Francisco Clicks

060308_600.jpg

Picture this: a group of fabulous women walking the streets of a sterling city, sharing, laughing and basking in the glow of their sisterhood. No, I’m not talking about a scene from Sex and the City (although I have already seen it and LOVED every minute of it)-I am talking about Clicks in the City, and you’re invited to play a staring role. Heels optional. Cameras a must.

A few of us Sisters are going to be attending the ever-popular BlogHer Conference this summer where we will be hosting the first ever BlogHer PhotoWalk. It's all very exciting. Personally, I’m giddy with the idea of getting outside, taking in a little of Union Square through my lens and clickin’ with a group of women passionate about photography (meaning all of you).

So, who’s in? You heading to San Francisco with us? Share your thoughts in the comments and if you are considering joining us please pop over to get the details at the PhotoWalk post at BlogHer and let the ladies of BlogHer know you're coming. And there’s a button to grab while you’re there to help us spread the good Sister word. Let’s show the world what a photo force we are, shall we?

Look out San Francisco. Here we come.

I am almost in tears knowing that I cannot afford to make this trip to CA. *sigh*

May the blessings of perfect light christen this event for the sisters.

Ah, how wonderful it would be to join you ladies on your Photowalk! I was just listening to Tracey and Kate on the Motherhood Uncensored podcast the other day and loved the idea of forming a local photography club. Anyone in the GVRD interested?

I am poor, poor, poor. So I can't come. :-( But I'll be thinking of all of you!

What's this about an Atlanta Reach Out date?

Finally facing that it looks like I'm NOT going to BlogHer and then, I read about this great idea. I think it's fab, though as a solo flier, I do wonder what it would be like to take pictures as part of a flock of BlogHer birds... a different experience, and maybe lots of nice portrait work to come out of it.

You know, I would love to organize something like that locally. But you know what would be better than a Photo Walk? Photos at the park! That way you can bring the kids and not have to worry about pushing a stroller while trying to take pictures. I feel an idea forming... ;)
