When we boarded The Inspiration (kinda ironic huh?) on Thursday afternoon, I had no idea what was in store for me. I expected to see good friends, hear amazing music and eat until I couldn’t breathe. I did all of those things and then some. What I didn’t expect was the ...

I would have to say camping with my family. We make so many family memories around the campfire and exploring this beautiful place that God has blessed us with. Camping is for sure a vacation that lifelong creates bonds!

My favorite vacation is the one I am GOING to take soon!

I am going to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to study the Spanish language, dance Argentine tango, and take photos of the gorgeous architecture that makes this Latin American capital look like a European city. Can't wait!!

My favorite vacation was a trip that we took to the Outer Banks in NC. My loving nephew paid for the house for all of us to stay in. There was 23 of us from our family all in one house. The house was located right on the beach and had a private pool. Each room had its own bathroom attached so there was a feeling of privacy for each couple or person in the room. It was living in the lap of luxury and I pretty sure that I will never have a chance to have a vacation again that was that relaxing and enjoyable with my family. Thank you so much Esteban for the vacation of a lifetime.

My favorite vacation is to San Clemente, California. We try to go every year. San Clemente is a sleepy little beach town in Orange County. When you think of old school surf city (like the Beach Boys sing about), this is it. It is an enjoyable week of family, friends, food, and of course, the magnificent Pacific Ocean.

My favorite vacation was to Acadia National Park. It was AMAZING!!! The park has the best of both worlds - mountains and ocean. The bike trails were old carriage roads, and we had a blast riding through the park. We also took a mail boat to a small island and stayed at a cozy bed and breakfast for a few days!

My favorite vacation is the one I am on right now!!! Every vacation is a treat. I love to travel and take pictures, scrapbook them with my scrapbook paper ho's and then go back and look at the albums later. We just left Yellowstone where it snowed for 4 days. Saw bison with babies (so cute!), black bear, grizzlies with babies, pelicans, coyotes, elk, and more bison. Now we are in Seattle where we have a view of the canal from our window. Great sites with opportunities to take photos every day. I am blessed to be able to travel and spend time with my family. And it would be even better if I had a great Epiphanie bag to hold all of my gear. I love your bags!!!!

I haven't been on many vacations - I was a notorious workaholic through my young adulthood. But I'm going on my honeymoon in a week, and I couldn't be more excited!!!
My favourite vacation was to Istanbul where I was invited to a traditional Turkish wedding. We had to drive to a tiny village 200 km away to pick up the bride who had never seen her husband before. Being from Germany and raised by very modern standards quite strange to me. His mother had arranged the wedding. We took her back to Istanbul and the celebrations went on for one week including a visit to a hairdresser for all female guests together with the bride on the day of the vowels. We had our hair done, our makeup, our nails and all in all had more fun there than on the other days of the wedding. Quite an experience that I will never forget.

Our favorite family vacation was when we all went to the jungle of Peru to serve and build for the beautiful physically-challenged folks of Refugio de Esperanza (Refuge of Hope). Beautiful country. Warm people. Changed lives--mostly ours!

It was a sunny day with clear crisp air. The mountains were filled with little nestlings and sweet aroma of ripened fruits- just another ordinary morning of the townsfolk of Puli, Taiwan. Geographically situated at the heart of Taiwan, I had a chance to experience the very simple ways of homestay because my Taiwanese friend bumped into her godfather while we were busy shopping along the streets of Taipei. Everything was basic and being away from 'technology' was the best part except the fact that I didn't have my google translator with me for having poor verbal Chinese language. Communication constantly broke down on me but Taiwanese people are so friendly there's no need to panic. Best vacation ever!

The last real vacation I took was in 2004, when I drove from Chicago to New Orleans with my best friend, for Mardi Gras. It remains the high point of relaxing, exhilarating vacations that I've taken in my lifetime.

My favourite holiday destination (and one of very few, first and only overseas) was Pitumarca in Peru! or Peru in general! I travelled there several years ago to visit my aunt who was working with people in a tiny town in Pitumarca, helping them knit scarves etc. to make money. There was a fantastic, bright and exciting festival when I was there....we couldn't sleep for the noise, there was colour, there was dancing, there was drinking...so much fun! I couldn't believe my luck at being in such a vibrant community, that when I had entered, seemed poor and people seemed without so much. I learnt so much from the people I met when I stayed there, precious time with my aunt and was privileged to spend time in a community that, had I visited myself, would never have visited while in Peru.

Costa Rica, this past November 2010. Met up with my fiance who was there shooting a travel show and we stayed on after he wrapped. We were on the Pacific side in a town called Nosara where we surfed, relaxed, drank guaro sours, and enjoyed a full moon that lit up the beach like it was almost daytime.

We love northern California-the fog in the morning, the sun in the afternoons. The tall pines, the Pacific. Being landlocked in the middle of Texas, it is such a treat to be somewhere so lush and diverse. And we plan on going back this summer! The possibilities with my camera are endless! I hope we get to live there someday!

Italy, it was beautiful and so different from California, and no I am not trying to win this purse for myself but rather for my cousin who loves these bags apparently.

Arizona, I know it's not as sophisticated as some of the other answers that other people are posting, but that is where my son lives and I love being able to go visit and just hang out with him and his wife.

My favorite vacation in the world was in Key West. I just love the place. It is so relaxed, yet so alive! I tend to be a bit clumsy and though I wiped out, my best day was by far the day I threw myself on the ground and skinned my knees - on the second full day of our vacation.

My favorite vacation this year was BRAZIL! I went with my hubby, and we met two of my girl friends who traveled down there several days before us. We not only visited the famous Copacabana beach in Rio di Janiero, but we made a side trip to Salvador da Bahia, home of Afro-Brazilian culture. The people, the music, and the food were amazing! We bought a painting that hangs in our living room and reminds us every day of our true adventure!

My favorite vacation is our family's yearly gathering in Door County, WI. My in-laws rent a house and all 12 of us stay in one house for a week. It is crazy, chaotic and soooo much fun. I love watching the kids bond with their cousins. The memories made will last forever. So many fantastic pictures have been taken there...sunsets...art projects...family photos...ahh! Can't wait to get there again this year!

My girlfriends destination wedding at an upscale resort in Cabo. Beautiful, relaxing, and memorable. I didn't think I would be able to go but my lucky stars were twinklin, because I would have deeply regretted not seeing that smile on her face as she was walking down the aisle.

I have to say my favorite vacation is when I went to Chicago, IL. I fell in love in this city, it was my first ever vacation with the love of my life. Exploring the depths and amazing places in this city was so exciting and inspiring! I love the food-y scene and all the great restaurants, museums, and buildings!! And talk about tons of events to do. It's spectacular. I will never forget it and it will forever be my favorite city in the U.S.
