When we boarded The Inspiration (kinda ironic huh?) on Thursday afternoon, I had no idea what was in store for me. I expected to see good friends, hear amazing music and eat until I couldn’t breathe. I did all of those things and then some. What I didn’t expect was the ...

My favorite vacation was in Maui with my now husband, Andre! The island was beautiful and the people even more beautiful and amazing. It's time to go back in paradise....soooooon, hopefully.

My favorite vacation was my honeymoon, which really was the last vacation I had. We spent 4 days in Orlando at Universal Studios. We had such a good time that we didn't take any pictures! Maybe we can correct that on our second honeymoon, someday!

I have to say my favorite vacation was to a place fairly local to me. We went to Ojai, CA for the weekend and it was such a beautiful, peaceful place to be. A great photo trip! :)

I don't travel too much since I haven't really found the opportunities, but from where I've been to so far I would definitely say Montreal. There's just so much to see and do! It was purely eye candy! I wish I was more into photography then and captured more photos, but I'll definitely be back there again some day!

Me, my boyfriend, my parents, my brother and his fiance, my sister and brother-in-law and their daughter all went to Mexico for a week last summer. My brother, sister, and I all had graduation dates in May, so my mom rented a beach house for us to stay in. It was so relaxing and fun, and we all got some really great pics of the beach!

i'd have to say that any of our vacations to Lanai, Hawaii, qualify for a favorite. the most special trip was our first there, for our honeymoon, but the best experience was a few years ago when we got to dine at the Ocean Hale at the Four Seasons Manele Bay -- they essentially bring an entire living room outdoors (it's set up in an open air cabana), cliffside, overlooking the beautiful Manele Bay and a jacketed waiter serves you course by course. sigh...wish we could go back!

My favourite place to vacation is definitely Grand Bend - my family has been going camping there every summer since my dad was a little boy, and I'm so excited that my fiance has agreed to carry on the tradition with me :) It's got the beaches, the campfires, the beach town, the great food, and the shopping. What more could you ask for?

I really loved Rome! So much to do and see. I'd go back in a heartbeat...

My favorite vacation was to Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina for our 20th wedding anniversary. Our hotel was on the beach and loaded with sea shells. We enjoyed the warm weather, sound of the waves, and many walks on the beach. Maybe we'll go back for our 25th!

How long have I coveted those bags? Perfect for me to take to the beach on the north shore of the Dominican Republic. My brother in law is a kite surfer and Cabarete has the best wind in the world. I tag along to keep my sister company. Thankfully the wind starts up in the afternoon so we have some beach time.

Favorite was this past weekend...staycation with the hubby...our first time away from our children (they spent the holiday weekend with my in-laws) since we brought them home 4.5 years ago. I've been to a lot of exotic locales in my pre-kid days, but I find of late, that there really is no place like home with The Hubs.

It was DELIGHTFUL. We ate lots of weird food and stayed up late and slept in and hiked and watched movies really loud without the subtitles on, and well, lots of other fun things, *cough*.

And? I enjoyed the sensation of missing my children. ;)

My most memorable vacation was at Maui, Hawaii for our wedding. We spent the first week lodged in a big house in the mountains with friends and family. We took a boat out to Molokini island for scuba diving, we went horseback riding down into an extinct volcano crater, went hiking to remote waterfalls around toured along the Hana highway. It was wonderful to relax with our closest friends and family before the big day. Our wedding in Waiilea on a golf course with sweeping views of the coastline was magnificent. The following week we honeymooned at a beach resort blissful and vowing to return again. It was truly a magical vacation and a trip of a lifetime!

The best vacation I have ever been on would have to my trip to Aruba last year. I was pregnant with my son and had the time of my life. The food was the best I've ever tasted in my life. The sand was so soft and white...the ocean was crystal clear and a gorgeous shade of blue! Man I wish I had my camera for that trip! I guess I will have to plan to go back!

My favorite vacation was when my husband and I took the kids to Maine for a few days. It was so laid-back. We had no itinerary, we just went and walked around and ate delicious seafood and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The kids were still very young and I thought it would be stressful taking a baby and a toddler on vacation, but we just took all the pressure off and just went with the flow, and it turned out to be really relaxing and fun and wonderful.

Definitely when I took my hubby 'home' to South Africa to meet my family...we'd been married 3 years and he'd never visited (or met the majority of my family). We arrived back in Michigan to discover we'd brought home the best souvenir EVER...I was pregnant with our first. LOVE!

The best trip I took was with my Mom and Sister as adults (sans spouses) driving across the country visiting all the tourist spots along the way. Great family bonding! ps- my pregnant wife could really use one of these bags. She's been begging for a while, but I just can't quite swing it....

The vacation my fiancé and I are currently on is definitely my favorite thus far and probably always will be. We just began month 2 of 4 months on a cross-country road trip to try to find our dream city! So far we have seen about 10 states and have had an amazing time! We only have 38 more states to see and time is just flying by! We are also shooting weddings and portraits on our travels and I have thought more than once how much easier it would be traveling and shooting with an epiphanie bag...

Barcelona! I fell in love the second I stepped off the bus. It was hotter than hell but the city was vibrant and beautiful and fascinating and delicious and bursting with art. Everywhere you looked, creativity and color and amazing form. We turned down a side street at random and ran into a parade of giant puppets. We escaped into an ancient cathedral and encountered a magical wedding in progress. And, there is ice cream on every corner!

My fav vaca is one to Jamaica that we went to 2 years ago with my kids who were 11 and 14 at the time. I'm not sure if a day goes by where one of us doesn't reference this trip in some way. My son says that he dreams of being down there alot... ya mon! Would definately have to take my epiphanie to the islands :)

Scotland--Edinburgh, the Highlands and lots of neat European trains. My favorite was the Hogwarts Express steam train ride to Mallaig on the coast. Glorious photo ops, but my camera bag was ugly, not like one of your beauties!

my favorite vacation hands down was in Barbados in 2005. my entire family went (immediate and extended) and i was able to spend every waking (and sleeping) moment with people who i love. my cousins and i would wake up early and go down to the beach, where we would stay until the sun started to set. then we would come back to the pool at our hotel and stay up all night swimming, talking, laughing, dancing and playing games. we would sleep for about an hour and repeat it all over again. best vacation ever!

My family (12) went on a cruise to Cozumel. It was so much fun! Two of us had just gone thru nasty divorces, and it was so nice to get away from everything and relax. Kids had a ball on the ship and off. Great memories for my whole family.

My husband doesn't get vacation time from work, but if he did, I'd make a big fuss and vouch for a road trip to the Grand Canyon or some other National Park. I would love to spend some time hiking or camping somewhere beautiful like that.

Definitely family camping in the sierra nevadas... although Hawaii is always a beautiful place to relax too!!

My favourite vacation was last year. We were not supposed to go home for a family reunion, but at the last minute (and I mean the day before) we packed up the kids, the dogs and drove 12 hours. The look of surprise on our families' faces when we showed up was priceless.

Favorite vaca: Just a simple getaway to the mountains (2.5hrs away) for me and my hubby in honor of our tenth anniversary. A big to-do wasn't something we could afford but scrimped to be able to take a long weekend away, just the two of us. TIME. ALONE. TOGETHER. Priceless :)

My favorite was when my 3 sisters and brother and I , got together in Reno to celebrate the twin sisters 50th birthday !! We had a riot. Went on a champaign cruise on Lake tahoe, explored the mountains and shared many good laughs that have turned in to good memorys !!many

My husband and I have been married for 13 years and despite my having been a flight attendant for the first 5 years of our marriage, we never went on a real vacation until last year. A week at the beach. It was wonderful!

My favorite vacation was on an Alaskan cruise. It wasn't so much the location (although Alaska is beautiful!), but the people I travelled with that made this trip memorable. To be amongst family -- husband, children, parents, siblings & their families, aunties, uncles, cousins . . . a big group enjoying one another . . lots of laughs and awesome memories.

Our first ever official family vacation was this past March ~ so that would have to be my favorite vacation! :) We are an Army family and recently hubby returned from his year long deployment and we decided to take the kids to Orlando, FL for some much needed R&R for all of us. We went to Disney World and SeaWorld! It was so much fun to be able to just get away and have some much needed family time and FUN!!! :)

I've actually NEVER been on vacation but my husband and I would love to visit Ireland one day.
My favorite vacation was to Florida, Walt Disney world, my daughters excitement made it all worth it. We had so much fun even though I was sick.

I have to say my favorite family vacation was Disney World. We went in the spring of 2008 when my boys were 4 and 2. That may seem young to some, but they were full of wonder and amazement the entire time. We had a blast!

My favorite vacation was spending time in San Diego with the family and future son-in-law, now son-in-law. We went to Coronodo Island and rented bicycles and pedaled around the bay. I treasure the memory... Now I'm older and wonder if I could still do it! May try it again! Never give up!

My favorite vacation was to Bar Harbor, Maine. My husband had unexpectantly just lost his job the day prior, so we were very hesitant to go. But we did. It was a long drive from Pa, but it gave us alot of time to think, plan, and unwind. I will never forget how beautiful and peaceful it was there. Acadia National Park should be on everyone's "have to go to" vacation spot! I am so happy that we had went! I have so many found memories, like yelling out the window and "calling" for moose, we never saw any but we had a blast yelling for them to come out of the woods!

Favorite vacation ever was a 10 day beach house rental on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Nothing but kicking back, reading, taking pictures, having fun, splashing around with friends and family. Fun.

Several years ago my husband and I went on a carribbean cruise. It was our first cruise and it was incredible! The places we saw were so beautiful. It was one of the only times in my life I felt totally relaxed. I hope one day we'll be able to go on another cruise but in the meantime I have tons of photos and happy memories to look at and relive our great vacation.

My favorite vacation was my honeymoon, 18 years ago. My husband and I went to Quebec City for two weeks. It was like going to Europe without going to Europe. Wonderful trip!

I have a new favorite vacation every year when our family goes camping. As soon as school is out we all look forward to a quiet week in the pine-scented air watching outdoor movies, playing in the lake, tubing, kayaking, fishing, eating amazing food, roasting smores, and playing games as a family. Since we haven't gone yet this year, last years camping trip is my favorite!

One of my favorite places in the whole world is New Orleans, especially in the spring. Here's a simple shot of scatted flowers on the lovely cobblestone street.
