When we boarded The Inspiration (kinda ironic huh?) on Thursday afternoon, I had no idea what was in store for me. I expected to see good friends, hear amazing music and eat until I couldn’t breathe. I did all of those things and then some. What I didn’t expect was the ...

My favorite vacation was a surprise trip to Hawaii for my 30th birthday! My husband had it all planned and we went with 3 other couples...it was the BEST trip!!!!

Best ever was last year. Spent a week in Spain, where our daughter lives and was taken up the coast by her fiancee and parents to the vacation spots that they travel toRoses, Llanca, Port de la Selva and then on to Venice, Tuscany and Rome. Trip of a lifetime.

There's no such thing as a bad vacation, but the best so far was my honeymoon in Greece <3

Going back "home" to the Maritimes, renting a cottage, sinking my toes in the sand and realizing that I can finally breathe. The ocean air so fresh, so pure and so alive - I can't help but feel healthy, alive, at peace, and, at home. Watching my 2 girls run around in the sand, screaming and waving their arms in the air when they spot a jellyfish or a crab on the beach. Seeing my husband relax and start acting like a kid again, remembering the summer's spent at the beach as a little boy. That is my favorite vacation!

There are so many great vacations to chose from. It is definitely a toss up between our honeymoon last year to the Oregon coast or the backpacking trip the my husband and I took in the Uinta Mountains when we were first dating!

My favorite vacation was a trip to Mackinac Island, MI when I was young. I was enchanted by it, and have always wanted to return.

Going home to Long Island, NY is always one of my favorite vacation stops. I love to catch up and spend time with my family and friends. Kicking back on a beach with great music and drinks is a plus.

My favorite vacation spot? London! There are so many sights to see, it's easy to traverse using public transport, people are nice to you, and the food is damn tasty. But this summer? We're headed to the Bahamas to celebrate our 20th anniversary.

After a very stressful year of classes, I flew out West with my parents for a two week roadtrip last summer. Our first day was eventful, to say the least. Our rental car broke down and we had to wait 5 hours for a new one. By the time we set out again, dusk was approaching. Soon, there was a downpour as we drove down an open road, surrounded for miles and miles by land. Every time the storm picked up, you could see bolts of lightning illuminate the sky. It was scary, yet beautiful. We travelled through San Antonio, Texas by boat and had some of the most delicious Spanish food and margaritas. Then, we went on to the Grand Canyon and Tlaquepaque, a lovely artist's village in Arizona which my aunt painted a scene from. The most scenic place was by far Monument Valley, as we rode the bumpy, unpaved paths to incredible natural formations, guided by a Navajo tribe member. From there, we had the opportunity to view wildlife in Yellowstone (so many buffalo - they stopped traffic!) and rode horses and rafted through the gorgeous park. We ended our trip by seeing a rodeo in Wyoming as well as seeing sculpture and a skiing town (off season) in Colorado. It was a wonderful trip that I will remember forever. My family bonded along our journey, travelling almost 5,000 miles by car through some of the most breathtaking places in our nation. Even though I took many pictures, it was so difficult to capture the magnificence of the places we went. I love to travel and have been fortunate to have the opportunity to do so. I look forward to many more adventures!

My favorite vacation was probably my honeymoon. It was nothing fancy, just a simple trip to San Antonio, but it was wonderful. We ate wonderful food. We visited The Alamo, the wax museum, Ripley's Believe It or Not, and various other tourist destinations. We walked and walked and walked (actually got a little lost walking back to our hotel). I wouldn't change a thing.

My favourite summer vacation spot is Tofino on the Westcoast of Vancouver Island. When you wake up in the morning it's foggy and cool and then as the morning opens into afternoon the fog lifts and you can see ocean as far as you see, and sometimes whales or dolphins swimming. There are waves crashing on rocks and so many hiking places. It's just complete heaven. :)

In the winter, anywhere warm is good to me!

Oh man, I've had so many great trips... maybe taking the train through Thailand, or backpacking in Kushu, Shanghai and Hangzhou were wonderful, and all the weekends traveling in Korea. Of course, our honeymoon on Cozumel was amazing.
Someday we'll get to do it again...

Hands down, my favorite vacation is at Lake Gaston, NC. I love the lake and the boat and the jetski and the docks and the walks and the flea markets down the road. The birds make it sound like a rain forest, and the summer storms are so cool to watch as they obliterate the lake in their fury. I love the lake.

my favorite vacation was last year in obx - corolla, nc...it was the first road-trip vacation that my husband, son and I had taken and the end of the 18 hour trip to get there was well worth it!

My favorite vacation was just 2 months ago when my two daughters and I traveled to Guatemala for a week. We were able to meet my younger daughter's first mom and sisters and do some volunteer work and just spend time relaxing in one of my favorite countries.

My most favorite vacation ever was when my son in college took me to Greece last year! He wanted to go for the week of his spring break, but none of his friends could afford it. I could. =)

My husband is military so we always use our eave time to visit family back home. My favorite vacation was the first Christmas we were together and we drove from VA to MI. It was just the two of us and the radio. I couldn't wait to see family since we had been gone six months AND to have a snowy Christmas. When we arrived there was no snow, no snow for Christmas but just before we left for home it snowed. I had missed all the snow and my hubby said it hardly ever snowed in Norfolk. The day after we arrived home we got dumped on... a foot of snow! Everything was closed and the vacation continued and I got my snow. ;)

I have to say my honeymoon as well. We had a wonderful week at a resort in Barbados, one of my favourite vacation spots. Then a week at my in laws, surprising I know, in Trinidad. They held a wonderful celebration for us, to celebrate our marriage with their friends in Trinidad that couldn't attend our wedding in Canada.

Thanks for the opportunity to win!!

My favorite vacation would have to be Arkansas! No seriously, being 10 and driving up winding mountains when you've lived in a flat plain town all your life was amazing. Also every place we stopped had humming bird feeders with hundreds of the little guys flying all over. :)

Favorites were trips to Mexico when our kids were little. The Mexicans were so warm and friendly...they seemed taken with our curly headed blonds. More than once a waitress would pick up a fussy child and carry him around so we could eat. Or a piece of amazing chocolate cake would appear at just the right time.

My favorite vacation was our honeymoon. I wanted to go to the beach and my husband wanted to go to the mountains so we compromised and spent a week in Key Largo and a week in Gatlinburg. It was the best of both worlds.

The best vacation ever was our last NYC trip before our kids were born. We saw the Beastie Boys three times, ate at Morimotos, and did all those things childless people do. Now my three year old loves the movie Annie, and talks about going to Radio City Music hall someday.
