(If I have to pick a best vacation that I've already been on, it would be the month we spent road tripping through Europe with our then 2 year old. It was a really difficult trip in some ways, but it was magical and in retrospect was very formative for us as a family.)

My husband and I love to travel and made a point to fit as much in during the first few years of our married life together while we were child-free with few responsibilities. Of all the trips we went on, when I daydream my thoughts just about always go back to New Mexico. We fell in love with the scenery, history, and cuisine. And don't get me started on the photo opportunities - they were endless.

Thank you for the giveaway!
I was able to finally see the Lion Gate of Mycenae and peer over the same vista as Agamenmon! I also visited Crete and Santorini as well as some of the smaller islands to peruse ancient ruins that I had read about in my youth.
Traveling alone was very comforting and I met a lot of really nice people during my vacation. It was so nice to finally take a chance and explore!
Thanks for an opportunity to share a great memory. And what a great contest - I love Epiphanie!
My best holidays have been camping trips with large groups. Family, friends... whatever. Just the chance to hang out in a relaxed atmosphere is so wonderful.
I was driving around Kansas City the other day (I live in the suburbs), and I realized how little I know of my own city. If I get the chance this summer I'm going to take a staycation with my camera around the city.
